Welcome to my Bakery!

Typical four range electric stove in my "bakery". Below is a door to all the yummy goodness that is withheld inside till baked to perfection. Oh to have one of those grandeous chef styles just for homecookin. I'm sure when I'm a little old lady instead of blowing my money at the casino I'll find myself having supurb cooking equipment just for my old husband and I. Reality says...with 5 kids the odds of having oodles and oodles of grand-great grand children who am I kidding? I'll still have the professional gear but just like the pros I'll have a few fans that will need their hunger satisfied. This gal is gonna be the one to do it...yes she is. I assume my collection of aprons will be quite a few by then..that's another post in itself! Tonight my not-so-professional oven and I baked up the most amazing batch of 4 1/2 doz. Chocolate cookies with vanilla chips and nuts added. I confess I ate 5 of them. I have good reason too...I split a couple with my son just to have half the calories. (you know what I'm talking about). I also didn't have room in the storage container so that one that would have been squished was saved and devoured just in time. Let's not forget the poor little one that broke cause it hadn't cooled enough...So sad!!! It called out to me and yes...I came to the rescue. It's just sick I tell ya but someone had to do the job! I'm not advising obesity...I'll put a run, walk, marathon or two in later this week or else.
